Current shipping rates

The applicable shipping charges are displayed in the cart or at checkout before the order is completed. The shipping charges shown at checkout are final.

Standard products

  • Austria: €19.90; free shipping for an order value of €1,000 or more
  • Germany: €25.90; free shipping for an order value of €1,000 or more
  • Switzerland: €35.00; free shipping for an order value of €1,000 or more
  • United Kingdom: €45.50; free shipping for an order value of €1,000 or more
  • United States: €395.00

Bulky goods

  • Austria and Germany: €55.00; free shipping for an order value of €1,000 or more
  • Switzerland and the United Kingdom: €85.00
  • United States: €445.00

smartkat® boats

  • Austria: €100.00
  • Germany: €250.00
  • Switzerland and the United Kingdom: €350.00

Different shipping charges may apply to individual products. The applicable shipping method is determined automatically based on the product ordered. The final shipping charges are displayed at checkout before the order is completed.

Notice regarding shipping costs and EU shipping

With the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) applying from 12 August 2026, businesses face additional registration, reporting, system participation and administrative obligations, together with the associated costs.

For this reason, we can no longer maintain generally free shipping throughout the EU and have had to adjust our shipping rates accordingly.

We have also decided to temporarily limit shipping within the EU to Austria and Germany. Deliveries to other EU Member States will not be offered until further notice. Deliveries to the non-EU countries listed above are not affected by this restriction.

We appreciate your understanding of these necessary adjustments. smartkat® will implement the new requirements as efficiently and responsibly as possible. We will continue to use packaging materials carefully, avoid packaging waste and make the best possible use of existing resources.

Delivery

Goods are generally shipped to the delivery address provided by the customer. The delivery address entered during checkout is decisive for processing the transaction. If PayPal is selected as the payment method, the delivery address stored with PayPal by the customer at the time of payment is decisive.

Unless otherwise stated on the product page, all products are available for immediate delivery and are dispatched within 3–5 days. Delivery is carried out by our shipping providers.

A smartkat® boat is delivered in three parcels.

If not all products ordered are in stock, we may make partial deliveries at our expense, provided this is reasonable for the customer.

If delivery fails due to circumstances for which the customer is responsible despite three delivery attempts, we may withdraw from the contract. Any payments already made will be refunded without undue delay.

If goods arrive with obvious transport damage, please report the damage to the carrier immediately and contact us as soon as possible.

Failure to report the damage or contact us does not affect your statutory warranty rights. However, it helps us assert our own claims against the carrier or transport insurer.
